You can archive tasks manually and automatically. If needed, you can restore archived tasks.

1. Manual Archiving


To archive tasks manually
  • Click Application Menu, and then click Archive Mode.
  • Right-click required task, and then click Archive Entity.

Note If you archive a parent task, all its subtasks are archived too.


2. Auto Archiving

Tasks that have not been modified for the last 180 days are archived automatically according to the default Archiving tasks rule.



To change the default archiving rule
  • On the ribbon, in the Navigation group, click Go To, and then click Archiving Rules.

  • Double-click the Archiving tasks rule, and then, in the Archiving Rule dialog box, on the General tab, make appropriate changes in the Filter box.

Note You can also add new archiving rules.

3. Restoring

To restore an archived task

  • Click Application Menu, and then click Archive Mode.

  • Right-click required task, and then click Restore.

Note If you restore a subtask, its parent tasks are restored too.


Note If you restore a parent task, all its subtasks are restored too.
